You Might Not Have To Die....

Chris and I are currently in Newton, Kansas visiting Chris' relatives (Dana, Kathleen, and Sheralynn), and our friends from Woodstock (Cookie and Dave).  Our friend Cookie has been dealing with ovarian cancer for the last 1 1/2 years, and things have recently turned for the worst (although there may be hope in the new treatment she's going through!)  This last week she got to fulfill one of the dreams on her "bucket" list and put on an art show of all her pictures from India.  A T.V. station in Wichita caught wind of the story and did a news article/t.v. report done about her.  We got to see the art show last night and just now watched the bit that was on T.V. (Check it out here). She's always been an inspiration to us, and now is inspiring the world through her story!

Love you Cooks!

Wow!! Her art show looked legit :) Her photos were awesome! They made me want to hop a plane and go photograph India (those were the types of photos that I wanted to get while there).

What an incredible story. I am so glad that you shared this. I agree with Christine, just beautiful.

I can't wait to hear all about your weekend with them.
